Zungulukani Primary school with about 270 student is situated on the border of Taita Taveta and Kwale County of Kenya. There is no economic activity in the area and most of the residents are very poor, lacks basic commodities like water, food and shelter .
Most of the students were were skipping school due to hunger and students who were attending the school were fainting due to the drought that strikes the area.
Help Aid Africa started a feeding program at the school late Last year and since then the school has reported an increase in performance and zero absenteeism .
